We are working to build a Tool Installation permit for our industrial sites that frequently change-out processing equipment for manufacturing and technology. I'm hoping to collect data from jurisdictions that have an equipment/tool permit option in place and how you established your processes. 

• How do you determined the appropriate fees to cover the cost of plan review and inspection.

• What scope does the permit cover (structural, mechanical, fire sprinkler, fire alarm)?

• How many inspections are included in the cost of the permit?

• At what point do you charge re-inspection fees for failed inspections
•  Does your jurisdiction offer multiple tools on one permit application, and if so, how do you track these? Are all tools required to receive final inspection before one permit is considered final?
